The filter section includes one-pole and cascade filters, classic state variable filters that add gain to the passband as the slope steepens, and precise state variable filters that do not. Low-pass and high-pass modes offer 6 to 48 dB slopes, while band-pass, notch and all-pass modes offer 12 to 48 dB options.

The distortion section includes 15 types, from Atan Saturation and Soft Clip to Sine Fold, Rectify and Bit Reduction. The Mix knob blends between two distortion types, and the filter can be placed before or after distortion, changing how the two stages interact.

Two separate LFOs control filter cutoff and distortion mix. Each offers seven shapes, including sine, triangle, square, ramp, random line and sample-and-hold. In free mode the rate is adjustable to 0.01 Hz. In sync mode the multiplier and multiplicand each range from 1 to 64, covering standard and unusual rhythmic divisions.

The spectrum view shows the input signal and the processing, and waveshaping and filter curve visuals help you see what each setting does. Values can be typed in, and double-clicking any parameter resets it to default. A bypass button is included for DAWs where it is useful.
