Delay Rings 8bit Upgrade: 8-Bit Delay Effect Plugin by W. A. Production

The core of the plugin is a double delay with two rings. Each ring has its own Gain, Feedback and Filter controls, and each can orbit clockwise or counterclockwise. This allows interwoven rhythmic patterns and swirling motion through the stereo field.

The developer says the engine produces crunchy, saturated harmonics reminiscent of classic 8-bit samplers. High-pass and low-pass filters on each ring let you clear low-end rumble or soften brittle highs in the delay trails.

Beyond the delay rings, dedicated Modulation controls with Depth and Rate add shimmer or warp. Reverb uses its own Dry/Wet and Time controls, and Stereo Width can be adjusted for both delay and reverb.

An auto-ducker reduces the delay volume while the input signal plays, with adjustable Release, so the main signal stays clear in the mix. Factory presets are grouped into instrument banks and genre effects, and an AB comparison and undo/redo function help when auditioning changes.
