Ducker, Delay and Filtering Controls
The Mix dial sets the wet delay level, and the Threshold and Ratio dials of the internal ducker shape how the delay is reduced under the dry signal. The ducker works in a similar way to a standard compressor. Attack, Hold and Release dials let you fine-tune how the ducking responds. Attack can be set to ignore transients in the delay signal, and a long Release is suggested for atmospheric results.
The synced delay section offers independent delay times for the left and right channels, from 1/1 to 1/16 in straight, triplet or dotted note values. Ping-pong routing cross-mixes the feedback paths between channels. High and low pass filters can shape the delay tail in two modes: one limits the whole delayed signal, while the other introduces frequency shaping gradually as the delay feeds back.
