Sound Design With Wavetables and Modulation
Codex uses two oscillators that sweep through wavetables, which produces animated, evolving timbres. Its matrix modulation offers 12 modulation options, and most parameters can be modulated. The modulation phase can also be reversed, so a source can push a parameter in the opposite direction.
Four LFOs are available, each with six waveforms, including random. An arpeggiator/sequencer can also serve as a modulation source, letting rhythmic movement drive the sound.
