01Overview

Choir Essentials - Omnia is built on a 40-piece choir recording and organized into four independent sections. It is a lighter version of the full Choir: Omnia library, with a single mic position and dedicated instruments for individual vowels. The instrument is designed for building choral arrangements quickly, whether for cinematic scoring or electronic productions. Native Instruments presents it as a way to shape detailed choir parts without working through the full library.

Sound, Legato and Syllable Control

Polyphonic True Legato is the core performance feature. According to Native Instruments, it tracks melodies and harmonies so that transitions between notes stay smooth as the voices move.

The Syllabuilder engine lets you play individual syllables or combine them into phrases. It merges phonemes to form vocal lines, and offers two transform modes and multiple round-robins per syllable. Randomize buttons can generate new syllable sequences when you need fresh material.

Workflow with Kontrol Keyboards

The instrument integrates with Kontrol keyboards. The Light Guide shows key ranges, keyswitches change syllables while you play, and the mod wheel and pitch bend give additional control over the sound.

This makes it practical for players who want to change vowels and articulations live rather than through menus alone.
