Sound, Processing and Channel Strip Tools
The strip includes a four-band EQ with shelving and parametric sections, plus high pass and low pass filters with selectable slopes of 12 and 24 dB per octave. A full-featured compressor/limiter can run before or after the EQ section, which changes how the dynamics interact with the tone shaping.
Analog saturation modeling adds harmonic color to the signal. Real time analyzers help you see the spectrum as you adjust settings. The developer also points to zero latency algorithms and double precision processing as part of the core engine.
Calibration modes for music, post production and several analog mixing desk models are part of the Channel G Compact design, according to the developer.
