Excite Audio describes the instrument as sample-based, capturing the movement and unpredictability of hardware modular rigs. White keys trigger individual sounds and launch phrases, while black keys tweak properties. Four macros labeled Surge, Orbit, Corrode and Space shape the sound in real time.

The main page adds high-pass and low-pass filtering and three effects: Noise for layered crunch, Reverb with Plate, Hall or Spring types, and Delay for rhythmic echoes and stereo width. Samples sync to the host BPM, so rhythmic material stays locked to your project tempo.

The patches were created and recorded by Paul Willard (Loopmasters) and Dan Weatherall (Blind Audio), which gives the library a curated starting point for song sketches and additional texture in finished tracks.
