Bloom KSHMR Lite was developed with producer and sound designer KSHMR and is aimed at producers who want Indian and South Asian textures in modern productions. The library draws on drum circles, tablas, sitars, bansuri flutes and vocal performances, all recorded across India and the wider South Asian region. Sound Sources and Character

The instrument covers light percussive tablas and dhols, large Bollywood-style drum circles, bansuri flute loops and one-shots, and strummed and stringed instruments including sitars, rababs and ouds. Vocal loops are included as well.

Excite Audio says KSHMR curated every sound and that the recordings were made with a mix of analog gear and contemporary production techniques. The developer describes the result as organic, with detail in each hit, strum and shake.

The Noise, Reverb and Dynamics effects can add crackle, space and transient shaping to these sources, which helps the sounds sit in different production styles.

Workflow, Macros and Key Controls

Samples are organized into 4 banks containing 56 samples in total, and 14 sample keys let you select pitch. Five factory modifiers (Half-time, Double-Time, Reverse, Octave Down and Octave Up) change playback, and five custom modifiers (A to E) can trigger sequences.
