Bloom Drum Breaks Lite is the entry version of Excite Audio's Bloom Drum Breaks. It is built around drum loops, fills and one-shots that are played from the keyboard rather than dropped into a timeline. The developer positions it for genres that depend on rhythm, including drum and bass, breakcore and hip-hop. Playable Drum Breaks and Phrase Control

The instrument spreads 14 drum loops across two octaves. White keys trigger drum samples and loops, while black keys change playback speed and pitch and trigger custom drum sequences and effect modulation. Five dedicated phrase keys, labeled A to E, trigger the phrases.

The library includes 4 sample banks with 56 drum phrases in total. Samples sync to the host tempo, so loops stay locked to your project BPM. Key selection lets you choose which keys are active for a given sound.

The 75 presets are each built from a unique combination of samples, phrases and effect settings.

Effects, Macros and Modifiers

Four macro controls named Digital, Lo-Fi, Slap Verb and Phaser apply processing to the drum samples. Five main effect parameters cover Saturation, Dynamics, Noise, Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut. Saturation adds warmth and character, Noise adds texture and grit, and Dynamics adjusts punch and presence.

Factory modifiers include Half-time, Double-Time, Reverse, Octave Down and Octave Up. Five custom modifiers are also available. A global bypass lets you compare the processed and unprocessed sound quickly.
