Modular Effects and Sound Processing
BEAM works as an effects playground. Its Space effect is a convolution reverb with a curated set of impulse responses, including sound design by Benn Jordan and Venus Theory. The Grains effect is a real-time granular processor for shimmering clouds and glitchy percussive patterns, and BEAM allows up to three parallel grain engines at once.
The Haze effect is a chorus and phase processor with algorithmic reverbs and dispersion, and can add stereo width or push feedback into resonant tones. Filter nodes offer lowpass and comb filter types with frequency, rolloff, resonance and stereo width control, and up to four filter nodes can run in serial or parallel.
