Bass Master: Sample-Based Bass Synth Plugin by Loopmasters Plugins Free Download

Bass Master builds each sound from two sample-based oscillators. The Top layer and the Sub layer can be shaped separately, with an ADSR envelope on the Top layer and an AR envelope on the Sub layer. A signal mixer balances the two.

The 217 waveforms are sampled from bass sources that Loopmasters describes as legendary hardware classics and modern synth designs. Waveform randomisation gives a quick way to generate new variations of a patch.

Sample Start selection on the Top layer lets you choose where playback begins, which changes the attack character of the note.

The filter section offers 13 types, including low-pass, band-pass and high-pass models, ladder filters and a comb filter. A dedicated filter envelope and an LFO with Random and Drift shapes add movement.

Distortion has five algorithms with Drive and Colour controls. Stereo Chorus offers four algorithms with Amount and Rate. Reverb Send includes Bright, Mid and Dark algorithms with Level and Size controls.

The Frequency Booster works across three bands for crispness, body and low end. The mod wheel can be assigned to any three parameters, and the presets come with parameters already mapped to the three-slot mod wheel matrix. Direct Out keeps the Sub layer clean and unfiltered, and global Legato and Portamento settings include Glide time and pitch bend up to 12 semitones.
