Sound Generation and Engines
Drum Synth uses a multi-synth architecture that combines FM synthesis, analog modeling and physical modeling, along with sample-based algorithms. These power eight individual engines: Kick, Snare, Clap, Percussion, Tom, Crash, Hi-Hat and Ride.
Because each engine is a separate sound source, you can build a full kit from synthesized parts that share a sonic character. The developer describes the engines as versatile tools for a wide range of percussive styles.
