Bass Master Expansion Pack: Seismic Bass for Sub and Reese Basslines

Seismic Bass is organized around low-end character. Loopmasters says the presets range from deep, sustained tones that work as a foundation for melodies to percussive and harsh sounds meant for heavier, more aggressive tracks.

The preset set is split across several types. There are 29 mid presets, 24 modulated presets, 16 low presets, 11 sub presets, 10 harsh presets, 4 swaggy presets, 3 miscellaneous presets, 2 percussive presets and 1 smooth preset. Most of the sound design sits in the mid, low and sub categories, so producers looking for heavy sub weight will find the largest selection there.

The pack adds to the stock sounds already in Bass Master, which Loopmasters presents as a way to add more low end to existing patches.

The pack includes 53 new waveform samples. They are grouped into 21 low samples, 15 mid samples, 10 high waveforms and 9 complex waveforms. These waveforms are the source material for the 100 presets, so the frequency split of the waveforms gives you a clear idea of where the pack is strongest.

Because the sounds are sample-based and loaded into Bass Master, you work with them through the synth's own controls. The pack is a set of sources and presets rather than a separate instrument, so it expands what Bass Master can play instead of running on its own.
