What's Inside Cloud Waves

The pack contains 50 new waveforms, grouped into 20 major-feel chords, 20 minor-feel chords and 10 root or open-note chords.

The 100 presets are divided by role: 42 pads, 22 atmospheric sounds, 20 stabs and 16 sound effects. That split makes it easy to find a starting point for a specific part of a track without auditioning every patch.

Because the sounds are built around chords, they suit producers who want harmonic movement in a pad or stab rather than a single held note.

Using Cloud Waves with KHORDS

Cloud Waves is a sound pack, not a standalone instrument. You need a copy of KHORDS, and the developer notes that KHORDS must be updated to version 1.0.4 or higher before you install the pack.

The presets are a practical way to test the new waveforms in context. Load a preset, then adjust it to fit your arrangement. The developer describes the sounds as dusty pads, dreamy atmospherics and dramatic stabs, which gives a clear sense of the intended character.
