Spectral Gating and Sound Shaping
The crossover filters run at -24 dB/octave and split the signal into eight bands. Sinevibes describes them as neutral, so they do not color the sound on their own. Enabling the optional band-pass filters adds variable resonance and slope on each band, which moves the result from subtle rhythmic gating toward heavy spectral filtering.
A spread control pans the bands progressively across the stereo field, using bipolar pan settings. Lag filters on the gate transitions and on all continuous parameters are meant to keep changes smooth and free of clicks.
