01Overview

HY-RPE2 is built around eight MIDI tracks, giving producers a way to generate and shape patterns inside their DAW. The plugin combines two sequencer engines: a Grid sequencer and a Euclidean sequencer. The Euclidean engine adds modulation tools, including drag-and-drop assignment, four LFO and Sample and Hold units, and four macro knobs. A MIDI recorder, MIDI learn and a MIDI note map help with capturing and mapping performances. The interface can be resized to fit different screen layouts.

Two Sequencer Engines in One Plugin

HY-RPE2 offers two distinct engines. The Grid sequencer provides a step-based way to build patterns across its eight tracks. The Euclidean sequencer uses a rhythm-generation approach suited to evolving, polyrhythmic patterns.

Because both engines live in the same plugin, you can switch between a structured grid and a generative Euclidean pattern without loading a second instrument.

Modulation and Control for the Euclidean Sequencer

The Euclidean sequencer includes four LFO and Sample and Hold units, along with four macro knobs and buttons. These can be assigned to parameters by drag and drop, so movement can be added to a pattern without digging through menus.

The MIDI recorder and MIDI learn features let you capture live input and map hardware controls to the plugin's parameters.
