Sound Character and Sources
AEON Rhythmic draws its sound from two main sources. The first is a set of organic instruments recorded over two years in professional studios, including tuned cowbells, upright bass, crotales and harps. Heavyocity reports more than 10,000 samples recorded at 48 kHz and 24-bit. The second is a set of analog modular synth rigs, which Heavyocity says were carefully tuned and tracked to range from serene to aggressive.
The library also includes unique ensembles built from instruments such as tuned dinner bells, stringed oil cans and plucked guitar, performed in unison. Together these sources give the library a mix of acoustic and electronic timbres within one instrument.
