01Overview

AEON Collection is split into two components, AEON Melodic and AEON Rhythmic, which can be bought together or separately. Melodic covers lyrical and expressive instruments alongside aggressive analog-style synths, while Rhythmic focuses on tempo-synced melodic loops. Melodic Instruments and Arpeggiators in AEON Collection

The Melodic side of AEON offers more than 300 presets built from organic instruments, synth and hybrid sounds, and signature AEON Hits. The organic presets draw on traditional, ethnic and orchestral sources, while the synth and hybrid presets lean toward dark, aggressive tones.

A built-in Advanced Arpeggiator lets you sketch motifs or build rhythmic patterns from your own melodies. Advanced Trigger FX performance controls and deep modulation options, including distortion, delay, reverb, filter, EQ and LFO, give you room to reshape each patch.

Loops and the Loop Mutator in AEON Rhythmic

AEON Rhythmic provides tempo-synced melodic loops arranged in nine tonal menu suites, 315 single loop presets, 46 loop arpeggio presets and 43 three-loop combo presets. Layering loops inside the menu suites lets you build melodic grooves.

The Loop Mutator rearranges the slices of a loop, and you can also drag MIDI to re-sequence the material. Developer Heavyocity describes the Loop Mutator as a way to play back looped material in new orders.
