01Overview

Natural Forces is aimed at composers who want evolving, textural sounds for cinematic work. Heavyocity built the library from its own field recordings of environments such as ocean surf and rainfall, combined with synthesis, natural ambiences and recordings of everyday objects like drill bits, singing bowls and dry ice. The result is a collection of pads, stings and tonal beds that can add movement and character to a score.

Sound Sources and Textures

The library contains more than 430 sound sources. These include 40 complex pads, more than 370 single pads and more than 110 stings, so it covers both sustained beds and short accents.

The 240-plus snapshots and 530-plus NKIs give you ready-made starting points that you can layer or edit. Heavyocity describes the sound as combining synthesis with organic ambiences, and the resonant textures come from recorded objects rather than purely electronic tones.

The library is 3.2 GB uncompressed and is available as a direct download only.

Motion Control and Playability

The Motion page lets you build volume, pitch and pan patterns, and the library includes more than 325 Motion presets (NKAs) as a starting point. This suits sounds that need to move across a mix or change over time.

Playable Trigger FX provide real-time control so you can perform the textures live rather than only sequencing them.
