Active EQ Bands and Dynamic Control
Each band can use the input signal or a selected side chain signal to trigger its active EQ response. The active response is shaped by each band's threshold, attack and release settings.
A ratio control sets how input level affects how far the active EQ moves toward maximum equalization. McDSP describes this ratio control as unique to the AE400. Peak readouts for each band's key signal help set thresholds quickly, and individual band bypass, band control linking and key signal monitoring are included.
