XO Expansion: Trap – Trap Preset Pack for XO by XLN Audio

The expansion's 75 presets are built around the sounds Trap producers reach for most: low, heavy kicks, sharp snares, and fast rolling hi-hats. XLN Audio says the presets are mix-ready, so they can be used with little adjustment.

Each preset is a fully editable sequence in XO. You can see the pattern behind each beat, change individual steps, and rework the groove without starting from scratch. The pack also includes 160+ genre-specific one-shot samples for building your own patterns.

The developer describes the presets as covering moody, minimal grooves through to more aggressive anthem-style beats, which makes the pack useful for both sparse and dense arrangements.

XO's engine lets you swap any sound for a similar sample with a single click. You can switch to sounds from your own sample collection, or filter on a specific range to create new variations of a pattern.

XLN Audio notes that the XO engine supports infinite variations on the included material. This is useful when you need several alternate kicks, snares or hi-hat patterns for the same loop, or when you want to test how a beat sounds with your own drum library.

Because the sequences are editable, you keep control over timing and feel while still starting from a complete beat.
