XO Expansion: Adieu by Drew Adieu is a preset expansion pack for XLN Audio's XO, containing 91 presets and 233 samples of trap drums and tuned 808s made by producer Drew Adieu. All beats are editable in the XO sequencer.
Adieu is built around the hip hop and trap sound of producer and sample creator Drew Adieu, who is based in Atlanta. The pack focuses on drum hits and 808 bass sounds meant to slot into modern beats. Its contents are presets and samples designed to be played and edited inside XO, so you can adjust each beat rather than only triggering fixed loops. It suits producers who want a starting point for trap-style drums and 808s with an Atlanta-influenced feel.
The core of Adieu is its drums and 808s. The pack's sounds are described as hard-hitting trap drums and tuned 808s with a polished grit, giving the low end weight and the percussion a sharp edge.
Because the 808s are tuned, they can be played across a keyboard or arranged to follow a melody or chord progression. The 233 samples provide the raw material for building your own drum patterns alongside the presets.
Each of the 91 presets is fully editable in the XO sequencer. You can change the patterns, swap elements, and reshape a beat to fit your track instead of using it unchanged.
This makes Adieu useful both as a finished starting point and as a source of ideas you can rework. The samples can also be pulled into your own arrangements.
