Ultimate Future Bass for Serum Vol. 1 is a preset pack of 64 Xfer Serum patches from Resonance Sound, covering arps, bass, leads, plucks, synths, keys and sequences in a future bass style.
Ultimate Future Bass for Serum Vol. 1 is aimed at producers who work in Xfer Serum and want ready-made future bass sounds. The pack includes 64 patches organized by type, from bass and leads to plucks, pads and sequences. Each patch includes macro and mod wheel assignments, so one control can shift a preset into a different sound. The pack also includes 20 MIDI files from the audio demo as starting points for writing.
The pack is split into 64 Serum presets. The largest group is leads, with 21 patches, followed by 15 plucks, 5 bass sounds and 5 keys. There are also 4 pads, 4 synths, 3 FX, 2 arps, 2 sequences, 2 vocal sounds and 1 brass patch.
Resonance Sound says the sounds are built for use across several genres, including trap, hip-hop, melodic dubstep and chillstep, not only future bass.
Macro and mod wheel assignments are included in the presets. Resonance Sound says turning one knob can bring out noticeably different sounds, which makes it easier to adapt a patch to a track without rebuilding it.
The 20 included MIDI files are meant to help you start writing faster. They are taken from the audio demo, which also uses drums for demonstration only.
