CFA ProWave 1 - DiscoveryPro is a synth preset expansion by Resonance Sound that adds 64 sounds and 50 new wavesets to DiscoDSP Discovery Pro. It is sorted into categories and aimed at trance, hardtrance and electro production.
CFA ProWave 1 is a sound and waveform expansion for the Discovery Pro synth. The pack bundles 64 presets with a new wavebank of 50 waves. Resonance Sound describes the set as covering smooth plucks, FM basses, fat leads, silky pads and dynamic gates. The presets are organized into categories, so they can be browsed by sound type inside Discovery Pro.
The expansion centers on 64 sounds designed for trance, hardtrance and electro. Resonance Sound lists plucks, FM basses, leads, pads and gated textures among the contents.
The 50 included waveforms are new wavesets added to the Discovery Pro wavebank. They give you additional raw material to shape in the synth beyond the factory waves.
ProWave 1 requires Discovery Pro and DiscoDSP Discovery Pro R4.1 or higher. Because the sounds are sorted into categories, you can move between basses, leads, pads and plucks without searching through a flat list.
The pack is a good fit for producers already working in Discovery Pro who want fresh starting points for trance and electro arrangements.
