Tropical House for Serum Vol.2 is a preset pack by Resonance Sound containing 64 presets for Xfer Serum, plus 32 MIDI files for building summer-style tracks.
Tropical House for Serum Vol.2 is a sound library for producers who want a Caribbean-inspired, summer character in their music. The pack covers a broad range of tones, including steel drums, marimbas, guitars, pianos and plucks. Resonance Sound says the presets are aimed at EDM-style production that mixes electronic sounds with real-instrument timbres. Each preset includes Modwheel and four macro assignments for direct control over the sound.
The presets are organized by type, so you can build a track from the ground up. The pack includes 19 plucks, 9 leads, 7 synths, 6 pianos, 5 bass presets, 4 arps, 4 FX, 3 chords, 3 pads, 3 vocals and 1 guitar.
The plucks and pianos suit rhythmic, bright parts, while the bass and chord presets cover the harmonic and low-end foundation. The FX and vocal categories add texture and transitions.
The pack includes 32 MIDI files organized into Main Chords, Main Melody and Bass. You drag the MIDI files into your DAW, select a preset, and start from a finished musical idea.
Because each preset has Modwheel and four macro assignments, you can adjust timbre and expression without opening the full synth architecture. Resonance Sound notes that the drums heard in the demo are not included in the package.
