01Overview

TITAN-2 is the follow-up to Resonance Sound's first soundset for Serum. The collection contains 90 presets split across bass, lead, pad, pluck, synth and FX categories. Resonance Sound says the presets are designed to sit in a mix right away and suit EDM, Big Room, Electro and Future House, as well as Trance and Rawstyle. Every preset has all four Macro controllers allocated, so you can shape the sound quickly from the front panel.

What Sounds Are Included in the Serum Presets

The pack's 90 presets are organized by type: 20 bass, 19 lead, 10 pad, 13 pluck, 22 synth and 6 FX sounds. The basses are described as bouncing, the leads as massive, the pads as spacious and the plucks as lush. Resonance Sound says the presets were built with the sound of current EDM in mind, drawing on the production styles of artists such as Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Eric Prydz.

Because the presets are grouped by category, you can jump straight to the sound type you need, whether that is a bass for a drop or a pluck for a breakdown.

Macro Controls and Workflow in Serum

Every preset uses the four Macro controllers in Serum, which gives you a set of performance parameters to adjust without opening the full synth architecture. This makes it practical to audition a preset and tailor it to a track in a few moves.

The soundset requires Xfer Serum version 1.02 or later, so it is intended for producers who already work with Serum in their DAW.
