Resonance Sound developed the set with Derrek, drawing on the club-oriented sound of trap and Moombahton. 03In depth

Sound Design Across Heavy Bass and Leads

The pack contains 64 presets for Serum, sorted into 21 basses, 22 leads, 11 plucks, 3 brass sounds, 4 FX, 2 pads and 1 synth. The bass and lead categories make up most of the set, which suits trap and bass-heavy club tracks.

Resonance Sound says the presets range from aggressive trap material to lush future bass chords and dreamy plucks, so the pack is not limited to one aggressive sound. Fifteen WAVE OSC noise sounds are included for adding texture to designs.

Workflow, MIDI Files and Macro Controls

The presets come with macro, mod wheel and velocity assignments, which give direct control over the sounds in performance and arrangement. The included 25 MIDI files provide ready-made starting material for building a track around each preset.

The set requires Xfer Serum v1.21b3 or later, so it is intended for producers who already work in Serum.
