03In depth

Sound and Style of the Teknocore Kits

The expansion focuses on modern techno and its harder, more abrasive edges. Baby Audio describes the collection as eclectic, spanning minimal hardcore through experimental electronica, so the range of moods is wide rather than limited to one club sound.

The 11 kit presets are designed for Tekno and contain 198 individual drum voices. Each kit can serve as a starting point for a full drum pattern or as a source of single hits to rework.

Using Teknocore Drums Inside and Outside Tekno

Every one of the 198 drum sounds is included as a royalty-free .wav one-shot. Because of this, the pack works as a regular sample pack in any DAW, including if you do not own Tekno.

The 45 MIDI loops give you ready-made patterns to trigger your sounds, and the 42 audio loops provide full rhythmic material you can drop straight into a session. Together they cover both the preset workflow inside Tekno and sample-based production elsewhere.
