Modern Industrial | Tekno Expansion Pack: Industrial Drum Presets by Baby Audio

Baby Audio says the expansion pushes Tekno's virtual circuits past analog nostalgia and into a more futuristic sound. The pack contains 10 aggressive kit presets, with 180 individual drum voices in total. The developer describes the sounds as sharp and deep, with metallic transients and deliberate distortion meant to cut through dense mixes.

The focus is on drumscapes rather than conventional acoustic-style kits. Producers working in industrial, experimental or dark electronic styles will find the character of the sounds closer to their target than general-purpose drum kits.

The expansion includes 50 ready-to-use MIDI and audio loops, which give a starting point for arrangements. Every drum voice is also provided as a .wav one-shot, 180 files in total.

The samples are royalty-free, and Baby Audio notes that you can use Modern Industrial as a regular sample pack even if you do not own Tekno. The Tekno presets, however, require Tekno to load.
