03In depth

Retro Drum Sounds for Tekno Kits

Baby Audio describes Dreamkid Drums as a twist on its Tekno sound, with an emphasis on large, unapologetic drums. The pack includes 10 kits holding 180 voices and samples, which gives you a wide range of kick, snare and percussion options within one consistent retro character.

The kits are built for loud, dramatic sections where the drums need to carry the energy of a track. Because the sounds are organized into complete kits, you can audition a full drum set quickly and then swap individual voices to fit your arrangement.

Using Dreamkid Drums as a Sample Pack

All 180 drum sounds are included as royalty-free .wav samples alongside the Tekno presets. That means you can load the samples into any sampler or DAW workflow, not only into Tekno.

This makes the pack useful for producers who want the Dreamkid sound in a different setup, or who want to pull individual hits into their own kits and chops.
