01Overview

The collection is built around classic rock and roll tones, ranging from clean, bright sounds to saturated, warm drive. Each cabinet is a DynIR capture made with eight microphones and multiple rooms, with control over mic positioning. Two notes Audio Engineering curated the selection, and the cabinets run inside Wall of Sound, the developer's plugin for virtual miking, power amp simulation and post effects. The pack is a good fit for producers who want vintage-inspired amp voicings without building a rig from scratch.

Cabinet Selection and Tone Range

The pack contains ten cabinets. Four are guitar cabinets inspired by classic amplifier designs, including a Vox AC30 combo, a Marshall 1960A 4x12, a Fender Bassman '63 and a Marshall 2033 4x12. Others draw on Fender Twin Reverb, Orange vintage 4x12, Fender Vibrolux, Marshall 2550 and Engl E412VG Pro cabinets. The speakers in each design are also named, such as Celestion Vintage 30 and Celestion G12H-30 models, Jensen C12K and Fender Utah units.

The set also includes one bass cabinet, JUBILV30 aside, named Fridge, inspired by an Ampeg SVT-810E 8x10 closed-back bass cabinet loaded with Eminence Custom speakers.

Working With DynIR and Wall of Sound

Each DynIR cabinet uses eight microphones, with dual miking and mic positions at the front and back of the cabinet. Users can control microphone placement, which lets you shape the captured sound without re-recording.

The cabinets are intended for Wall of Sound, which supports up to 20 cabinet channels in stereo. Each channel includes a tube power amp emulation, eight room acoustics and studio effects such as a 6-band EQ, a 2-band exciter, a studio compressor and a reverb. Wall of Sound can be used for re-amping, modelling or direct recording from a preamp into a DAW.
