Cabinet Sounds and Mic Control

The collection is built around DynIR technology, which Two notes describes as hyper-realistic virtual guitar and bass cabinets. Each cabinet offers 8 microphones, support for dual mic-ing, and mic positions on the front and back of the speaker.

The cabinets are inspired by amp and cabinet makers including Engl, Mesa Engineering, Peavey, VHT, Diezel and Bogner. The set includes 4x12, 2x12 and bass 4x10 configurations, with speakers ranging from Celestion Vintage 30 to Greenback and Peavey Sheffield models.

Using the Cabinets in Wall of Sound

These cabinets are designed for Wall of Sound, which handles virtual miking, power amp simulation and post effects. The plugin can run up to 20 DynIR cabinet channels in stereo, and each channel includes a tube power amp emulation and 8 room acoustics.

Post effects include a 6-band EQ, a 2-band exciter, a studio compressor and a tweakable reverb. Two notes says the plugin suits re-amping, modeling and direct recording from a preamp into a DAW.
