Clean Bass Tones From DynIR Cabinet Captures

Each cabinet in the collection is a DynIR capture, a technology Two Notes describes as hyper-realistic virtual cabinet modeling. Every cab includes eight microphones, and you can adjust mic positioning across the front and back of the speaker. The developer says the set was chosen to cover classic and contemporary clean bass sounds.

The cabinets are inspired by a range of real hardware, including an AER Cab One MIX closed-back bass cabinet and a Vox V212H 2x12 open-back guitar cabinet, each with its own speaker choice. This gives you several voicings to compare before you commit to a tone.

Using the Cabinets Inside Wall of Sound

The collection is built for Wall of Sound, which handles virtual miking, power amp simulation and studio-grade effects around each cabinet. Wall of Sound can run up to 20 DynIR cabinet channels in stereo, and each channel includes a tube power amp emulation and eight room acoustics.

The post effects include a 6-band EQ, a 2-band exciter, a studio compressor and a tweakable reverb. You need the full version of Wall of Sound or GENOME to load this pack.
