01Overview

Future EDM Generations 2 for Serum is a follow-up to Resonance Sound's Future EDM series, built for producers working in current festival and radio styles. The pack gathers Serum patches across several EDM sub-genres, from dark Reese basses for rave intros to slap basses and melodic plucks for radio-oriented tracks. Each preset comes with macro assignments and slight variations, and 25 MIDI files give you a melodic starting point to build a track around.

Sounds for Future Rave, Slap House and Deep House

The pack covers a broad range of tones. Resonance Sound describes the Reese basses as dark and blockbuster-style, suited to rave intros, and the signature sound re-creations as bright lead and drop sounds.

For the lower end, the collection includes 24 basses, among them slap basses for slap house. Eight plucks handle melodic lines, while two pads and two atmospheres fill the background. Four synths and three FX cover breaks and transitions.

The developer positions the pack for producers who want to explore the sounds of artists such as David Guetta, Meduza, Imanbek and Morten.

Workflow with Macros and MIDI Files

All presets are fully macro-assigned, so you can shape each patch with a few adjustments. Every patch also includes slight variations you can explore with the mod wheel and the macro knobs.

The 25 MIDI files are designed to match the melodic radio style of the pack. Combined with the Serum patches, they can serve as the foundation for a new track.

The pack requires Xfer Serum v1.344 or later. It contains Serum presets only; the drums used in the demonstrations are for demo purposes and are not part of the pack.
