03In depth

Drum Kits, Presets and Sounds in Hot List

The core of this expansion is its drum content. It includes 50 Maschine kits and 62 Battery kits, giving producers a broad set of drum starting points for pop and urban arrangements. The Maschine kits are built for the Maschine workflow, and the Battery kits load into Battery.

Beyond drums, the pack adds 10 Monark presets for synth sounds, along with 380 loops and 610 one-shots. The one-shots allow you to sequence individual hits, while the loops provide complete rhythmic and harmonic ideas you can drop straight into a session.

The developer describes the overall sound as hard-hitting, with infectious melodies and rich harmonic textures.

Who Hot List Is For and How It Fits a Workflow

Hot List suits producers working on pop, hip-hop and related styles who want a fast route to polished drums, keys, synths and basses. Because it combines kits, presets, loops and one-shots in one expansion, it works both for building a beat from scratch and for adding finished layers to an existing track.

The content is tied to specific hosts. Maschine content requires the latest version of Maschine, Battery content requires the latest version of Battery, and Monark content works with the latest version of the software. Loops and samples work in any DAW.
