01Overview

Hybrid 3 Expansion: D. Ramirez is a preset collection built for AIR Music Technology's Hybrid 3 synth. It was created with D. Ramirez, a DJ and house producer associated with the TOOLROOM label, and it is intended for producers working in house and tech-house. The pack loads directly inside Hybrid 3, so there is no separate instrument to install. The presets are meant to give you a starting point for your own electronic productions.

What Sounds Are Included

The pack contains 64 custom-built presets. The developer lists lo-fi basses, sub basses, pads, arpeggiator sequences and transition FX drops among the categories.

The basses and subs give you low-end material to start from, while the pads and arpeggio sequences cover harmonic and rhythmic layers. The transition FX are useful for moving between sections of a track.

Because the presets sit inside Hybrid 3, you can open any patch and edit its oscillators, filters and effects to suit your track.

Who the Pack Is For

The collection is aimed at producers making house and tech-house music. D. Ramirez has played clubs such as Sankeys in Manchester and Ministry of Sound in London, and the presets are offered as a personal collection to inspire your own productions.

If you already own Hybrid 3 and work in these genres, this pack gives you a set of ready-made sounds to audition and adapt. It is less relevant if you do not use Hybrid 3, since the presets require that synth to run.
