Kick Sounds and Attack Layers from Jamie Anderson
The pack combines two layers of sound design. The 32 attack hits give you top-end character that you can layer under or over a body, and the 32 attack presets are already set up to pair with the main kick sounds.
Jamie Anderson says each attack kick was processed to get the right amount of character, and each preset was tweaked to add a solid low end. That makes the kicks a starting point for tuning body, punch and low bass to suit your track.
He also suggests sending all drum channels to a separate bus with compression, EQ and saturation to get the most from these kicks.
