BigKick Expansion V11 - House Kicks V2 with Full Intention is a preset expansion pack for the BigKick drum generator, containing 64 kick drum presets for house music and related genres.
This expansion pack is designed for producers who work with BigKick and want a ready-made set of house kick sounds. Full Intention, the UK production duo of Jon Pearn and Michael Gray, developed the collection. The pack includes 64 kick drum presets, 32 attack hits and 32 attack presets, which can be loaded directly into BigKick's preset manager. The developer designed the sounds for house music but notes they can be used across other genres.
The expansion contains 64 crafted kick drum presets, covering the core of the collection. It also includes 32 attack hits and 32 attack presets, giving you separate tools for shaping the transient of a kick.
Because the attack hits and attack presets are separate from the main kicks, you can layer or swap the top-end click of a sound without rebuilding the whole kick from scratch.
Plugin Boutique describes the pack as a set of presets for BigKick, so it works only inside that plugin. Each preset is loaded through the new BigKick Preset Manager.
The developer states that Full Intention have used BigKick in their own productions, and the presets reflect that workflow. Load a kick as a starting point, then adjust it to fit your track's tuning and mix.
