BigKick Expansion V1- Dubstep Kicks with Dodge & Fuski is a preset expansion pack for the BigKick drum generator, containing 50 kick drum presets and 25 attack hits crafted by Rob Talbott of Dodge & Fuski.
This expansion pack is the first made for BigKick and was developed with Rob Talbott of the dubstep and drumstep duo Dodge & Fuski. It supplies a set of kick drum presets and attack hits aimed at bass music producers who want kicks with a dubstep character ready to load. The duo is known for moving between dubstep, electro and drum and bass, and the pack is designed to fit that style. Because it runs inside BigKick, it works as a starting point for sound design rather than a standalone instrument.
The pack includes 50 crafted kick drum presets, along with 25 attack hits and 25 attack presets. Together these give you the body of the kick and the transient layer that cuts through a mix, so you can build a kick from both parts.
The presets are made for dubstep, and the developer frames the sound around the work of Dodge & Fuski, who have a record of shifting between genres and tempos within a single set.
Presets are loaded through the new BigKick Preset Manager, so you can bring the expansion's sounds into BigKick without manual setup. Once loaded, the presets can be shaped further using BigKick's own controls.
This makes the pack a practical option if you already use BigKick and want a dubstep-focused library to draw from.
