Kit Sound and Recording Detail
The core of the pack is a 1962 Camco drum kit, played with both sticks and brushes. The developer says the kit was recorded with an array of high-quality microphones, capturing direct and ambient signals.
The 20-inch kick drum is captured in four different ways, including a damped version. Two snares are included: the original Camco kit snare and a vintage Gretsch snare. The Gretsch is described as a lower, fatter alternative to the Camco snare.
The toms were recorded with SE Electronics microphones, and the snares were captured with wires both on and off, so you can choose a more natural kit sound or a cleaner timbre.
