BFD Decatom is a tom-based expansion for BFD3 built around ten DDrum Deccabon toms. The drums share identical 6-inch heads but have depths ranging from 6 to 24 inches, which gives the set a pitch range covering one octave. Because each tom is tuned differently, the kit can work as a source for unconventional melodies and basslines rather than only standard drum parts. The developer recorded it under the same studio conditions used for the BFD Jazz & Funk and BFD Percussion expansions.
