Band Essentials (for Waveform) is a preset pack from Tracktion that adds drum, bass, piano, guitar and percussion instrument presets to the Waveform Multi Sampler. It requires Waveform and works with both Waveform Free 13 and Waveform Pro 13.
Band Essentials is a collection of instrument presets built for Tracktion's Waveform Multi Sampler. The pack covers drums, bass, piano, guitar and percussion, giving producers a set of sounds that suit band-oriented productions. Tracktion describes it as a starting point for band work. Because the presets load into Waveform, you can audition them and adjust them within the same environment you use for your arrangement.
The pack is made up of presets for five instrument groups: drums, bass, piano, guitar and percussion. Each preset is designed for the Waveform Multi Sampler, so the sounds are played from your MIDI keyboard or sequencer like any other Waveform instrument.
The set is aimed at producers who want ready-made instrument sounds for a band-style arrangement without building each one from scratch.
Band Essentials is compatible with both Waveform Free 13 and Waveform Pro 13. The presets can be edited in Waveform Pro, MIDI Producer and Synth Pack, so you can change them to fit your track.
If you use the free version of Waveform, the pack is still usable with that version.
