FM Synthesis and Operator Routing in F.’em
The core of F.’em is its operator matrix. Eight wave operators, two multisample operators and a noise operator can be routed without fixed algorithms, so you are not limited to preset FM routing structures. Wave operators offer waveforms ranging from sine to analog-style shapes and the waveforms found in some classic FM synthesizers, and they support hard sync like an analog synth.
Each operator has its own pitch and level LFO and its own pitch and level envelope, along with keyboard level scaling. That gives fine control over how each operator behaves across the keyboard and over time.
