The Marshall Cabinet Collection adds eight Marshall cabinets to Amp Room, including 4x12, 2x12 and 1x12 models. Each cabinet offers six microphone options and six mix-ready microphone combinations. The cabinets were recorded by Daniel Bergstrand at Dugout Productions, and the collection is aimed at guitarists and bassists who want Marshall tones inside Amp Room's cabinet module.

Marshall Cabinet Models and Microphone Options

The collection includes classic and rare Marshall cabinets, among them the 1960B and 1960BV 4x12 models, the 1960AX and 1960HW 4x12 cabinets, the 1936 and 1936V 2x12 cabinets, the 1912 1x12 cabinet, and the 1974CX 1x12 open-back cabinet.

Each cabinet has six single microphone options and six mix-ready microphone combinations unique to that cabinet. You can switch between cabinets in the Amp Room cabinet module, and you can place multiples of the same cabinet in parallel to build your own combinations.

Recording Approach and Sound Character

Daniel Bergstrand recorded all eight cabinets at Dugout Productions with multiple microphones. The developer describes the cabinets as suited to styles from vintage to modern, with the 1960HW hand-wired 4x12 aimed at both retro tones and high-gain use.

The 1912 1x12 is described as useful for bass as well as guitar because of its low-frequency content, and the 1974CX is a 20W open-back 1x12 with a single 12-inch speaker.
