Sound Design and Synthesis Engine

Wavesynth GLOW draws on classic analog and FM synth sounds, reshaped through 14 wavetable algorithms. The instrument offers amp and wavetable envelopes, two LFOs that control wavetable position and a Prophet-type low-pass filter, and a separate Moog-type low-pass filter.

The sample content is recorded at 96kHz, 24-bit and converted to 44kHz, 16-bit, which Karanyi Sounds describes as studio-grade quality. Over 60 parameters can be MIDI-learned, so the sounds can be mapped to hardware controllers.

Presets, Effects and Built-In Randomizer

The 70+ presets range from basses and leads to plucks and percussion. Each one can be used as a starting point and edited through the instrument's controls.

Three customizable effects are included: dimension, tape delay and hall reverb. A master EQ, compressor and limiter sit at the output. ROLL, the built-in intelligent randomizer, is designed for creating sharp pluck sounds and generating new patches quickly.
