Wave Sequencing 2.0 and Sound Design
The original Wavestation assigned a duration, sample and pitch to each step of a sequence. In wavestate native, Wave Sequencing 2.0 separates these into independent Lanes for timing, samples and melody. Each Lane can have its own number of steps and its own start, end and loop points.
Lanes are combined every time the sequence advances, so a sample can play with a different duration, pitch, shape or gate length each time. Steps can also be randomly skipped with a modulatable probability from 0 to 100%. Each note in a chord can play something different.
The plugin offers modulation sources and destinations, up to 4,000 modulation destinations per Performance, and Mod Knobs for macro control.
