01Overview

WaveOSC is a synth plugin built around wavetable synthesis. Two analogue-style oscillators with seven wave shapes feed a third oscillator that can generate wavetables from their output with a single click. Each oscillator has its own envelopes, LFO, filter and effects, and the wavetable oscillator can be unlinked to set left and right channel positions independently. The synth runs as a plugin in VST3, VST2, AU, AAX and Standalone formats.

Wavetable Sound Design with Two Oscillators and a Wavetable Engine

WaveOSC uses two main oscillators that offer Sine, Square, Saw, Triangle, Noise, Organ and Metallic shapes. Each oscillator supports subtractive filtering, pitch and voicing adjustments, and its own ADSR envelope. The third oscillator is a wavetable oscillator that builds its wavetables from the output of oscillators 1 and 2.

The wavetable oscillator has its own window for scanning through wavetable sets. You can unlink the left and right channel wavetables, set their positions separately and modulate them for stereo movement. Up to 32 voices are available per oscillator.

Modulation, Master Effects and Performance Controls

Each oscillator includes an ADSR volume envelope, a modulation ADSR envelope and an LFO. Cutoff, resonance, detune, blend, mid/side, pan and level can all be modulated by drag-and-drop assignment.

The master effects rack holds nine rearrangeable modules, including a compressor, a 4-band parametric EQ, distortion, delay, phaser, chorus, filter, flanger and reverb. Four independent LFOs can modulate effect parameters. Global portamento and velocity controls are included, and a draft mode labelled D-mode reduces CPU use.
