Synthesis Engine and Sound Design
Under the hood, Usynth 2080 uses two individual layers per voice. The developer lists Virtual Analog, Wavetable, FM and Multisample synthesis as available engines, which gives you a broad palette for lead tones.
Each instance also includes a multi-mode filter, 5-stage envelopes, LFOs and a 12-way modulation matrix. These tools let you shape movement and character over time, from sharp synthwave leads to softer, evolving tones.
Because the layers are independent, you can combine two sound sources in one patch, such as a bright lead layered over a warmer voice.
