Voicemax: Real-Time Vocal Tuning and Harmony Plugin by Karanyi Sounds

Choose a key and scale, and Voicemax tunes the lead as it is sung. Tune Amount sets how firmly notes are pulled to pitch, Retune controls how fast the correction moves, and Smoothing determines how natural the transitions between notes sound.

Harmony voices are sung live beside the lead. Presets such as Thirds, Octaves, Unison, Deep and Full Stack give you a starting point, and each voice has its own interval, pan and level. Spread and Formant adjust the width and the perceived size of the singers.

SCALE mode keeps every harmony on notes of the key. Switching to a fixed interval keeps the voices a set number of semitones from the lead, regardless of key.

Harmony Builder places chord blocks on the timeline, and the four voices sing each chord. You can copy, paste, stretch and move chords to build a full progression, and notes frozen under a chord are kept.

Brigade expands the harmonies into a group of up to 32 singers that you can place near or far and left or right, in a Room or a Hall, or generate as a new random group.

For sound design, Voicemax can turn melodies and harmonies into MIDI for other instruments, and Push adds overdrive that makes the vocal denser without raising its level. Re-Pitch shifts the full take by up to 12 semitones. Karanyi Sounds positions the plugin for creature, robot and character voices as well as podcast speech.
