Time Textures Expanded Upgrade from Time Textures: Kontakt Orchestral Textures

Sonuscore says the Expanded version adds 12 new instruments, including orchestral soloists and Persian string instruments. The Flow slider blends legato transitions into the textures, which the developer describes as more organic, live-sounding performances.

Live repetition elements add rhythmic pulsations to the textures. Sonuscore also lists 150+ new presets, new FX, and sustain pedal support. The instrument includes 37 sampled instrument patches with multiple articulations per section, covering tremolo and staccato for strings, tenuto and triplet tongue for woodwinds, and tongue staccato and flutter marcato for brass.

The engine controls five core parameters separately for each of its two instrument layers, all tied to the mod wheel. Dynamic Control shapes the intensity of each note, Movement adds particle articulations for a morphing effect, and Flow adds legato-style transitions when chords are held.

Octaves sets how many octaves the sound source emits, and Speed sets how fast the particles play back, with higher values producing denser textures. Attack Volume, Spread, Gain and Pan give further control over the layers.
